Mechanical Engineer

Job Purpose:

To develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:

• Develop conceptual designs for new products or systems.

• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses.

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to design and model components.

• Analysis and Simulation:

• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid flow analyses to optimize designs.

• Utilize simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) to predict performance and identify potential issues.

• Testing and Validation:

• Develop and execute test plans to verify product performance and reliability.

• Analyze test data and draw conclusions.

• Manufacturing Support:

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement improvements.

• Project Management:

• Manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

• Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Strong understanding of engineering principles (mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics,.)

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Experience with specific industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)

• Proficiency in simulation software AutoCAD, Revit - 2D & 3D Modelling
  

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
